The best way to make Miss America more relevant to people her own age would be for her to express her individuality. Emphasizing the idea that she is not just a pretty face wearing a bedazzled crown, but she is an individual and with or without the crown she is still that same individual. She represents America, her home, her family, and most importantly herself. She is an individual with a purpose making her mark on this world.
