What is the best way to make Miss America more relevant to people your age?
In my experience, there is a widespread misconception that Miss America is just a pretty face who lacks real substance. By participating, I have learned that Miss
America is an icon who epitomizes compassion, grace, intelligence, and talent. As a representative of the MAO, my goal is to educate others as I have been educated and to show my generation that today's icons such as Miss America, movie stars, and even collegiate athletes are just hard working young people who decide to go above and beyond.
