Kehaulani Christian
Kehaulani Christian is a Licensed Esthetician and Licensed Esthetics Instructor, currently working as a Makeup Artist and Esthetician with Chanel. She graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a B.A. in Public Relations and has worked with several non-profit organizations in fund development. She has also represented several organizations as their spokesperson, including Sunra Coffee, LLC, and the Department of Health's 5-A-Day Coalition. Kehaulani enjoys dancing and has had the opportunity to travel as a Polynesian dancer, including a year as a dancer at Polynesian Paradise in Tokyo Disneyland. She can be seen at the Danny Couch Show at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel. In 2002, Kehaulani had the privilege of serving as Miss Hawaii 2002. As Miss Hawaii, she traveled throughout the United States and Asia promoting the State of Hawaii as well as her platform, "A Child's Right to Read."
Coralie Chun Matayoshi
Coralie Chun Matayoshi has served as the CEO of the American Red Cross, Hawaii State Chapter since 2003. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director of the Hawaii State Bar Association for 13 years. She is a graduate of Punahou School and earned a political science degree, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 1981. Coralie also worked as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C. She also served as Chief Policy Analyst for the State Senate Committee on Business Development & Pacific Relations, and as Executive Director of the Hawaii Institute for Continuing Legal Education. In 1976, she was selected as the Narcissus Queen. She is now a busy career woman and mother of three.
Leilani Keough
Leilani Keough has been a member of the Miss Hawaii Organization since 1980. She served as Miss Hawaii's Traveling Companion for 17 years and is currently the Hostess Chairperson. Leilani is proud to have chaperoned Carolyn Sapp, Miss America 1992, and Angela Baraquio, Miss America 2001. She is an experienced beauty and ethnic pageant judge and has judged pageants throughout the State of Hawaii and on the mainland. Lei is married to retired Navy Commander Edward Keough, who also retired from Merrill Lynch as Asst. Vice-President.
Ann Mata
Ann Mata is the Executive Director/ Producer of the Miss East Oahu and Miss Kahala Pageants, which are prelimi nary competitions for the Miss Hawaii Scholarship Pageant. Originally from Arkansas, Ann worked with Universal Studios in Hawaii with the filming of Magnum P.I. and Out On a Limb. She was Agency Director for Susan Page Agency and Modeling School and for Kathy Muller Agency. During this time, Ann was Executive Director for Miss Universe in Hawaii producing Miss Hawaii USA and Miss Hawaii Teen USA for over nine years. Ann currently runs her own business, Pageant Productions, training young women of all ages for pageants and self-improvement.
Hailama Farden
A performer, composer and educator, Hailama Farden is the Vice Principal of 9th and 10th graders at Ke Kula O Kamehameha ma Kapalama. He is the current President of the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts, the body that governs the Na Hoku Hanohano awards. Having been a member and founder of various Hawaiian associations, Hailama is an active member and officer in the royal society Hale O Na Alii O Hawaii, Ahahui Olelo Hawaii and the Hawaii Maoli Board to name a few. He is a proud graduate of the Kamehameha Schools.
Council Member Charles Kong Djou
Charles Djou is a member of the Honolulu City Council representing the area form Waikiki to Hawaii Kai. Charles previously served in the Hawaii State House where he was the Minority Legislator of the Year for 2001, 2003 and 2005 by Small Business Hawaii and Under 40 award in 2006. Charles graduated from Punahou School and earned both a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude with distinction. He earned his law degree from the University of Southern California. Charles serves as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve and is an adjunct professor of law at Hawaii Pacific University. He is currently a member of the Oahu Advisory Council of the American Lung Association of Hawaii, the Young Business Roundtable, the Chinese Jaycees, the Kaimuki Business Association and the Hawaii Telecommunications Association. Charles is also a member of the Hawaii Republican Party, where he previously served as Vice Chair. Charles is married to Stacey Kawasaki Djou and together they have three children.
