Miss Hawaii 2009!

Miss Ko 'Olina, Raeceen Woolford captured the Miss Hawaii title this past Saturday in front of a sold out crowd at the Hawaii Convention Center in Waikiki. She will go on to compete next January 2010 at the Miss America competition to be held in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Ms. Raeceen Woolford is a former University of Hawaii volleyball standout and had competed last year for the Miss Hawaii title, were she was a runner-up. She was crowned the 65th Miss Hawaii and among her prizes, she will receive a system wide air-pass from Hawaiian Airlines, which will be very useful as she promotes her platform throughout the Island State.

Miss Hawaii 2009 was televised live on OC16 and can be seen during the next 15 days as the cable station rebroadcasts this annual scholarship event. This telecast can also be seen streamed online at oc16.tv, under special feature category.
