Nicole Fox crowned new Miss Hawaii 2008!

Miss Island Oahu, Nicole Fox was crowned the new Miss Hawaii 2008 in front of a crowd of over 1000 in attendance at the Neal Blaisdell Center Concert Hall this past Friday, July 11^th, 2008.

Our new Miss Hawaii resides in Honolulu and performed as her talent a hula to the medley, “Malie’s Song & Hawaiian Lullaby.” Fox’s platform is entitled PEAK-Promoting Educational Achievement in Kids, she will go on to compete at Miss America on January 24, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Our new Miss Hawaii will also participate in the Miss America reality series "Miss America Reality Check" which will air for eight weeks prior to the national competition. She and 51 other finalist representing our 50 States, Washington D.C and the Virgin Islands will film the reality series from September 10-October 10.

Nicole was crowned our 64th Miss Hawaii as the program celebrated its 60 Annual event.

The Miss Hawaii program, aired LIVE on July 11th on OC16 and rebroadcasts can be seen presently on OC16 thorughout the month of July. Following the current air schedule, Time Warner subscribers can find the Miss Hawaii 2008 telecast listed on "Video OnDemand."
